After a long drive up north to Darkside Development we met up with Danny to feature his TT. When people tell you there building a race car you expect all performance and no beauty right? So it’s rare to find a car that can do both which we feel Danny has achieved here. From a distance it looks like your standard lowered TT but then you get up close and start to notice the details. TTS Front Bumper with TTRS Grill, Retro Fit Xenon Headlights with the rear valence removed and that wing of course.
Naturally we will start with the wheels, fully custom set of 3SDM Forged | 3.36 | FX3 Series (19”x 9) giving a perfect lip to arch fitment up front and a slight tuck on the rear with enough clearance for those big 6 pot Porsche Cayenne / Brembo Front Calipers with 350mm Discs and TTS Rear Calipers with 310mm Discs on the rear. He also has a set of VW Motorsport wheels for track days (19”x 8)
Crack open the boot and your met with a simple, effective and very tidy build. Airdynamiks air struts with Airlift Performance 3P management all supplied and finished by Only Charged Dubs. 2x Seamless tanks with custom hardline and Twin ViAir Compressors, stacked neatly underneath the custom roll cage. Leaving enough space for the helmet to be stored for those trips to the circuit.
We then rolled out to the outskirts of Sheffield finding a quiet spot in an old industrial area to carry on with filming.
